Hillcrest School provides hostels as the need exists for students in grades 9 - 12 whose parents work at remote
distances, usually the interior of Papua. Each hostel is staffed by a couple or a family in order to provide a loving, home-type environment for our students. Close relationships are formed with the hostel "parents" as they prepare meals together, study together, and experience life together.
Those wishing to live in a hostel at HIS may make applications through the school director. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis as need is expressed. At times, due to specific circumstances, additional students may be allowed to reside at the hostels. Each person should discuss this with the director.
