The school is an Hillcrest School (HIS) Satellite school in the town of Wamena near an MAF base. It has three classrooms in a single building teaching grades 1-6, with 10-20 students total. Ideally, each class has two grade levels with 3-7 students.
There is subsidized housing available on the MAF base which the school will help set up.
These are some of the most flexible teachers. They teach in a remote location in the Highlands of Papua. Our Wamena campus is a small school with the teachers teaching multiple grades every day. The teachers need to prepare lessons which challenge the older students while at the same time engaging the younger grades.
