This is the GENERAL process of applying to work at Hillcrest. The exact nature and number of items may vary from person to person.

Be convinced by God to apply to work as a teacher for missionary children.

Communicate that desire to

• your church and praying friends
• the director of Hillcrest School
• a sponsoring mission

Be accepted by all three as a good candidate.

Raise support. Hillcrest does not pay a salary to expatriate teachers. Your salary will come from your mission sponsor and those who have desired to partner with your work financially.

Say "Until later," and "We'll keep in touch through Facebook," to your friends and family.

Get on that plane.

Step onto the tarmac in Sentani and begin one of the greatest adventures of your life.
