HILLCREST SCHOOL

Our middle school consists of grades 6, 7, and 8. Middle school subjects are taught by a variety of teachers who are focused on teaching one or two subjects. As in elementary and high school, middle school courses are structured around AERO Standards for the following core subjects :

*English
*Math
*Science
*Social Studies

Other subjects that are offered, as staff are available, include :
*Indonesian language and culture
*Art
*PE
*Health
*Music
*Computers
Middle school students participate in weekly chapels that are organized by the middle school teachers, while the times of worship may be student-led. The middle school years at Hillcrest provide an important transition period between the structure of elementary school and the more independent learning of high school.
